What exactly is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (“CBT”) aims to assist patients in altering how they think, feel, and behave by focusing on how they respond to certain stimuli.
During the middle of the 1950s, Albert Ellis, an American psychologist, devised this treatment. He proposed the theory that people’s feelings are not dependent on the events that take place but on how they think about such events. One of the common steps in CBT is to first recognize unhelpful thinking patterns or beliefs and then look for methods to replace them with healthier perspectives.
According to the principles of CBT, when individuals are having negative thoughts, they have a greater propensity to behave in ways that they would rather not otherwise. If we modify how we respond to certain stimuli, then, in principle, this should also cause shifts in our moods and actions.
Despite this, there is no need for you to be concerned about your problems since Brain Divine is always there to assist you.
